Admission requirements:

The candidates applying for MSc in Computer Science programme with English as a language of instruction should have BSc diploma in Computer Science (Informatics). In case of having degree in another programme – it is necessary to partipate in written qualification test.

Admission of Bachelor or Master degree holders from Computer Science is made on the basis of average grade from the previous education.

Admission of Bachelor or Master degree holders from other programmes or faculties than Computer Science is made on the basis of grade obtained in qualification test verifying the candidate’s competencies to study at 2nd cycle studies and of average grade from the previous education according to equation presented below.

The place on a ranking list decides about admission. The candidates ranking list is created according to the following equation:

W = 0.5 D + 0.5 T

Where:

D – stands for figure corresponding to average grade of 1st cycle studies;

T – stands for figure corresponding to qualification test grade.

The following method of calculating points for the candidate who graduated from Computer Science is accepted — in place of T - the number corresponding to maximum grade which can be obtained from qualification test.

In case of candidates with the same result, the grade from diploma exam will be considered.
