Each and every student of the University of Silesia has the access to the set of University's Rules and Regulations.

The document of Rules and Regulations of Studies comprises the bases for the functioning of the University and concern full-time and part-time first and second cycle studies as well as long-cycle master degree programmes at the University of Silesia in Katowice and specify every aspect of studies, among others: 

• students' rights and responsibilities,
• academic year organization,
• courses' curricula,
• examination rules,
• thesis and defense regulations.
